I covered my first  wrestling match of the winter season last night as Lakeland and Moscow traveled to Sandpoint for an Inland Empire League tri-meet.   For more photos from this event you can visit my website at this link: http://bit.ly/X37CP3

Part way through the evening I was informed that referee Merrill E. Owens, pictured below, would be retiring after this season and that he was also being inducted into the national wrestling hall of fame.  I had already taken a number of photographs of both of the refs but I did focus a little bit more attention on getting a larger variety of photos of Mr. Owens after hearing that!
